About BEST Labs

BEST Labs LLC is an independent software studio that designs and develops applications for everyday life. This Privacy Policy applies to all BEST Labs LLC websites and apps, including Runway, KinTable, WalkAway: Net Sheets, Cliffhanger, and Remvi, as well as future apps we release. Some apps have additional details described in the App-Specific Privacy section below.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the app or service you use. Several BEST Labs apps are designed to work without an account and keep the information you enter stored locally on your device. Where information is collected, it may include details you choose to provide, such as preferences, support messages, or feedback, and, for apps that offer them, account-related details. App-specific details are described below.

How Information Is Used

We use information to operate our apps, provide the features you request, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and develop better product experiences. BEST Labs LLC does not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services

Some BEST Labs apps rely on optional third-party services to provide specific features, for example, AI providers that generate content you request. Where an app uses a third-party service, information is shared only as needed to deliver that feature, and only in the apps where that functionality applies. Apps that operate entirely on your device do not transmit the information you enter to third-party services.

Data Security

BEST Labs LLC designs its apps to minimize the amount of personal information that leaves your device. Apps that store information locally rely on your device's built-in security features. While no method of electronic storage is completely secure, we work to keep the information our apps handle as limited as practical.

App-Specific Privacy

Runway

Runway is a personal financial planning and forecasting app. All financial information you enter is stored locally on your device. Runway does not require an account, does not sync to the cloud, and does not connect to your bank or other financial institutions. Runway does not provide AI-based financial advice, and BEST Labs LLC does not sell your information.

KinTable

KinTable is a meal-planning app. When you request a meal plan or recipe, your requests may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate the results you ask for. Your meal and dietary preferences are used only to provide the functionality you request within the app. BEST Labs LLC does not sell your personal information.

WalkAway: Net Sheets

WalkAway: Net Sheets helps estimate real estate transaction figures. The transaction information you enter is stored locally on your device. WalkAway does not connect to your bank and does not integrate with the MLS.

Cliffhanger

Cliffhanger is a reading app. Your reading progress may be stored locally on your device. Cliffhanger does not require any personal information.

Remvi

Remvi helps you capture and revisit personal memories. Your memories belong to you and are used only to provide the features you use within the app. BEST Labs LLC does not sell your personal information.

Children's Privacy

BEST Labs LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it if needed.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our apps, services, or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
